💽 the whole "frutiger aero/metro" comeback is just a y2k revival with nothing. should've been obvious when it basically got it's start on tiktok, a place known for chasing out minorities, up there with the likes of tumblr & shitter

I’m fascinated by teens being really into aesthetics that they never experienced. Like people will say Frutiger Aero is a nostalgia for a more positive view of the future etc… but you can’t really be nostalgic for something you never experienced? Also kids into audio tapes. Not bad just interesting.

Spent a good chunk of the day trying to get FFXI installed because the extended free trial just dropped, and it was one of the most archaic installation journeys I've been on. It involved Frutiger Aero Jazz and an installer saying "Don't freak out about the terminal window".

I turned Callie into a 2000s Tuscan Mom. Apparently this was the style of homes when frutiger aero was all on the internet! I remember all the rich people had this style of home and man...it's still nice today. I miss it ngl.
