Mathematically, there is a solution. It’s just really, really slow.

Fully Homomorphic Encryption allows for arithmetic computation *on* encrypted data.

First published in 2009, each individual (x86) operation took 30 minutes!

AKA, about 10^12 times slower.

Fully homomorphic encryption allows you to get information without revealing your personal data, but it’s currently a slow, intensive process. But #Intel’s new Heracles chip speeds up FHE computing 5,000-fold compared to a CPU. spectrum.ieee.org/fhe-intel

Very excited about this ⚡new paper⚡ with Doron and Guy from Fhenix!

We construct very 𝙨𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚 and 𝙛𝙖𝙨𝙩 exact fully homomorphic encryption scheme for "high precision" plaintexts, which works for 𝙖𝙣𝙮 plaintext modulus and with 𝙖𝙣𝙮 number/polynomial ring (including ℤ, for a solution from plain LWE).
