AVGN was extremely entertaining as a bit, but it led to a wave of copycats just like Fullyramblomatic later would. It was TIRING trying to wade through all of that noise to find good voices. Similar problem has been occuring with Steam user reviews, where garbage gets troll upvoted as helpful. 😔

I haven't been up on #SecondWind, but this #fullyramblomatic really felt like the quality #zeropunctuation of old.

Glad #yahtzee is still doing his thing.

Pretty sure that was Yahtzee Croshaw's (of Zero Punctuation and Fullyramblomatic) pitch for Duke Nukem Forever - the world had moved on and his macho swagger was seen as a dated relic. The head of the studio didn't want Duke to be seen as dated, though, so it was rejected.
