G is for Geraniums.
I have been presently surprised by the Geraniums. This is the first time I have had them in my garden. 1 variety was grown from seed & 2 were from plugs plants from the gardencentre.

The front beds and deck planters and pots are going through their transitional phase. Big survivors at the front: penstemon and fuchsia. Side deck: geraniums (bought as annuals, but still thriving). The back? Marigolds. A zillion fucking marigolds. Oh, and George has a surveillance drone...

Er bloeit behalve deze lupine nog best veel in de tuin, monnikskap, geraniums, herfstasters, verbena, cosmea, dahlia’s, Gaura en zelfs nog een paar zonnebloemen. Genoeg te halen voor de bijen 🐝 die nu nog rondvliegen.

Deze lupine trekt zich er niks van aan dat het al oktober is, prachtig! 🌱

sweet-scented geraniums are my favorite flowers. i think their leaves and pedals are gorgeous, and i love the smell. they have often be used as a fake rose scent, but i actually like its smell more than roses, and i get a joy from preferring the “fake” for what it really is
