have zero NYT bestsellers and I was an English/Anthropology major who didn't graduate but even I know that the light source is an unshielded fusion reactor hanging in space about eight point three light-minutes behind Integrity.

Our sun is pretty.
But the fact that it’s a yellow dwarf, spectral class G2V, with a surface temperature of almost 6000°C, and fusing 600 million tons of hydrogen into helium every second, makes it slightly scary.
But prettier.
Also, we know more about the Sun’s interior than the Earth’s core. 🧪 🔭

Though I am partial to the Fermi Paradox solutions where we are just early to the galactic stage (with our fancy G2V star that is stable well before K and M (and I guess L) stars are stable. If that’s true, if we’re just the oldest, then we have plenty of time to put 🧵
