In order to keep myself from rushing through the new Fields of Mistria update, I made little overworld sprites for the Galactiquest cast. They're based on some outfits I made for them back in 2024.

I started writing Galactiquest in 2019, but this story has been in my heart since 2013. It's an ongoing novel about an inexperienced, ragtag space crew's journey to Neptune. Their bosses are a mess. So are their personal lives. But it's fun!

Some Angelo sketches I liked.

Wasn't happy with the last set of fullbody refs I drew for Galactiquest last year, so I'm drawing more. I'm happy with how these look so far.

an anime cel replication of leon and emil staring at something off-screen with equal amounts of worry and thinly-veiled disgust, respectively. roxie is jumping in the background, very proud and happy!

And here's everyone's natural hair textures! I couldn't fit poor Roxie on the second row, so now she's alone.

Happy belated Valentines Birthday to Jun!

I'm sad I missed out on writing a new Galactiquest chapter this month, especially since I got an influx of new subscribers. So, here's this picture. I normally use a slightly different version of it to thank new subs, but I haven't posted it anywhere else. (2023)

Chapter 19 of Adventures in Spacepunk is up! Mia finally meets up with all of her brothers, but the circumstances are not ideal. Maybe they could work things out...?

Extra squishable sketches of Leon I drew for his birthday. 💫

I just found out about Sora's Pixel Converter and had a blast with it last night. Here's a scene for the imaginary Galactiquest visual novel. I even made some tense music to go along with it. (I'm hoping I didn't accidentally steal it from another game.)

I decided on a whim that I wanted to sketch out my OCs' natural hair textures. Here's the Galactiquest characters from straightest to least straight hair...and Angelo! I couldn't fit everyone on one row. 😅He should be between Mia and Lorenzo.
#art #oc #OcSky #Galactiquest
Image: Galactiquest cast from straightest to curliest hair. In order, it's Jun, Aiden, Leon, Mia, Lorenzo, Emil, and Roxie. Jun has no curlers in their bangs, making them bone straight, and Emil and Roxie's hair are their natural colors. Angelo is on a row below everyone else.

Since Roxie is from Kansas, I thought of her saying "I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore," and then it led to this. It's really funny how well each character slots into the Wizard of Oz cast.
#art #oc #ocsky #Galactiquest
Image: Galactiquest characters as The Wizard of Oz characters. Roxie is Dorothy, Emil is the Scarecrow, Mia is the Tin Woman, Angelo is the Cowardly Lion, Leon is Toto, Jun is Glinda the Good Witch, Aiden is the Wicked Witch of the West, and Lorenzo is The Wizard of Oz.

Chapter 10 of Adventures in Spacepunk is up. Emil gets the dish on Leon's love life, but his own past isn't off the table. Not only is this the new longest chapter, but this illustration is the 100th one I've made for Galactiquest!
