I never had the nerve to kilt up anywhere but renfaires and cosplay friendly gamecons. Possibly because my Buchanan tartan is so much bolder than I am.

it's still fine it's just not nearly as exciting as it once was, since we have so much easier access to imported games and stuff now. it's no longer a place you'd want to go on a whole trip for, unlike in the early 2000s when it was mecca for gamecons
