It wasn’t until 1959 that the first living juliid was discovered. Kawaguti and Baba found a species in Tamano, Japan, and called it Tamanovalva limax. It was indisputably a gastropod – and it had two shells. 😮 This is now called Berthelinia limax. (That’s enough taxonomy.) (6/9)
