But despite the massive majority there isn’t any consistent sense of radicalism to deal with those problems.
Yes there’s the wealth fund, planning reforms, GBEnergy. But these are relatively modest long term changes. They’re not going to transform the economic model.

Are'nt we thankful that the first major policy announcement of British Labour was the inception of #GBEnergy?
It has really helped us to stave off the worst of the fuel price rises we have seen recently has'nt it?

I think the main thing this article points to is after a period where covering politics was just to describe a gov lurching from one gaff to another and tons of factionalism. The press are really struggling to find a story, despite things like Tata, Harland+Wolff, GBenergy all requiring coverage.

It's a great bill, but Government shouldn't repeat past mistakes & set up a new public body without responsibility for #nature as well as #climate.
