(1/3) People have been asking me about this redesigned GDEMU clone (Dreamcast ODE). So I bit the bullet, bought one, and tested it.
Firstly, all of the "faster speeds" stuff is pure marketing bullshit. Timing is handled by GDEMU firmware, and it's delicate. You don't want to arbitrarily increase.

Fiiiinally got a proper plastic mount installed for my DC GDEMU!
I’ve been unable to for years, because I installed heatsinks on my GDEmu that made the mount not fit… but my brother had the means (to cut plastic), so it’s finally installed!

the colorful XBR console shrine about 3 months into the making, coming together really nicely. Though i’d love nothing more than a GDEMU Dreamcast with a translucent purple shell where the PS1 is currently living..

Built a holder for my GDEMU in my pink Dreamcast, 3D printed, sanded, painted and glossed. Added some pink LEDs to the controller ports and power.
Also using USB-C so I can use the Japanese motherboard with UK power~

Genuinely kind of peeved that the key to solving all of my issues with GDEMU were to add a line in the .ini that amounted to
