Pictures from an afternoon shopping trip to Exeter on the new Genesis. I can't fault this bike, it's a solid machine, so agile and so responsive despite it's overall weight.

Before (left) with the old wheels, saddle & bar tape.
After (right) with the Shimano RX010 wheels, new Panaracer Gravel King slick tyres, Madison Flux Classic saddle & some bar tape to match. Now I my may be biased but I think she looks 😍

Part one of the transformation complete. I needed some spacers for the front mudguard to fit over the disc brakes. Took bloody ages, fiddly job. Swear tin is now overflowing. Pannier rack was easiest to fit. Pleased with that 😁👍 #cycling #newbike #touringbike #GenesisBikes #CroixDeFer #SteelIsReal

Mě se klasický Croix de Fer vždycky hodně líbil, ale nějak jsem nepřišel na to, jak to dostat do ČR 🤷‍♂️

I think I've done a good job, I was up rather late and the one on your right took 3 attempts, the one on you left I got right first go. Oddly, at the time I thought that was the one I was doing wrong 😂

Had another idea this morning and it was before I had my coffee 💡☕️ (yeah, I know!)
Rear light, where will it go? 🤔
Then I remembered the Tailfin rear light mount I had (the only part of my Tailfin aeropack I've used so far (don't ask 🫣))
