I use the Ghostery mobile browser for these because it blocks them all.
Like truly have you tried reading something from a news site on your phone recently? It is nearly impossible. I keep trying to scroll (because ads take up half the screen) and accidentally clicking on some pop up that consumes the entire screen but also doesn’t actually work so I can’t x out of it.

Ublock continues to be a pretty solid choice, however I've been enjoying ghostery (which has an emphasis on privacy) myself. Bonus! As of writing, ghostery deals with ads when watching prime video on your computer!

You can install tools to stop trackers like uBlock and Ghostery on Firefox. Using Linux will stop Microsoft tracking you as well, which you knows sends that data to Meta. Protonvpn has the option to block trackers and ads as well.

I’m 90% of the time on my phone and the mobile app is a very different experience.

ooh well I also highly recommend the Ghostery ad-blocker browser extension for blocking those recipe site ads and you can get past major publication paywalls on recipies with removepaywall dot com !

One thing I will say that’s massively improved my internet use recently: Ghostery browser plugin. Completely blocked off all cookie request forms, I haven’t seen one in weeks. It actually feels like the internet of a decade ago as a result
