Landed here 35 years ago today The plan to study for 2 semesters I couldn't understand anybody! Later discovered the Bavarian dialect is comparable to Glaswegian! Mastered the language & my party piece, with 🍺 can put on the dialect, confusing everyone! Happy to have passed that baton now to my kids

Restless Natives. A controversial one because it’s quite beloved by some but Edinburgh is hardly in it. All the cast sound Glaswegian and most of it was filmed in Glasgow pretending to be Edinburgh. And apparently you can get to the highlands on a bike in 20 minutes from Princes Street.
