The Humble GLM:
Like every copyright-related AI guardrail, this will both prevent many legal uses and fail to prevent many infringing ones. Copyright is tough!

supposedly this week we’re set to roll out:

* Fable 5.5
* Astra 6.2
* GLM 5.5
* the downfall of the Trump era

what are you most excited about?

Revolut swaps Claude for self-hosted GLM

Revolut made GLM 5.3 its default AI model for 2,000 engineers, reporting 60-70% productivity gains and cost cuts by self-hosting.

Revolut only finding AI productivity gains after they stopped paying high prices for Anthropic & OpenAI and switched to self hosted GLM will be devastating for frontier labs if it catches on.

Revolut says it cut AI coding inference costs by ~90% in less than a year by making self-hosted GLM models its default over commercial tools like Claude Code (Tobias Mann/The Register)

if we get GLM 5.5 this week and it gets abliterated promptly, that would probably suffice.

but no i’m not sure the specific thing referenced here.

I taught my GLM to do scihub and redditbeg

Vuln scanning in 2026, except it's glm-5.3
October 27, 2026 at 3:13 PM
Also: No Claude involved

… but let me tell you about local GLM 🤣

Anyway I’ll clean up source for the like nine other people interested so we can make a bakers dozen

Now, speaking of that GLM-5.3 in the corner …

You could consider something like OpenCode with GLM 5.3 through an infrastructure provider of your choice. The quality should be much better than free ChatGPT, and you wouldn't be interacting with any of the big labs at all.

GLM 5.3 - API Pricing & Benchmarks
GLM-5.3 is a large-scale reasoning model from Z.ai, built for complex software engineering and long-horizon agent tasks. Higher uptime with 38 providers.

GLM is fantastic, not saying it could yolo millennium challenge math problems like the frontier labs seem to be able to, but ain't nobody paying me to do that anyway.
October 31, 2026 at 2:41 PM
Lol. 200GB. And I've cleaned a ton of stuff up semi somewhat recently, like a month ago.

Also, awhh glm, you being all cute.

> crypto money gets hacked by North Korean GLM swarms
> North Koreans use stolen money to build boats

okay recent opus and sol are pretty solid beast, I think it is a planning / organization problem.

Share your most recent failures with GLM 5.3 and have it brainstorm cutting your project into parts that are more agent-digestible

GLM 5.3 is okay at that and it free
