a good question here; what are your favorite artistic depictions of evil, realistically or otherwise? I've mentioned my admiration for @abraham.bsky.social's Geder in THE DAGGER AND THE COIN series before - essentially 'what if a Gamergate guy but in a fantasy universe.'
Honestly it’s such a funny character where on the one hand he is evil and cunning and on the other he sometimes is just a fuck up, and that’s Tolkien being good at what he does man that’s what evil is, sometimes it’s just some dipshit with a helmet

Those books are outstanding and Pacey stars as narrator! Glokta may be my all-time fave book character and a lot of that is likely due to Pacey's narration.

I went outside again today. Last time I tried it set me back for days. Because of stairs. So many stairs, I feel like Glokta (sorry obscure grimdark reference). But roses have begun to bloom on our porch, it feels like a hopeful sign of spring so I post a picture here.
