I'm updating a deck -- this rarely happens!
My Old Gnawbone deck's gimmick is that all of the nonland permanents are artifacts. I think this is a pretty fun self-imposed restraint, especially because the deck would otherwise be extremely powerful.

The deck needs a lot of early ramp to be able to hit Gnawbone ahead of curve so I've been playing stuff like this. The more I play the deck the more I don't like these, simply because they feel too traditionally green to fit the theme. Get them out of here.

the first time I played through it we ended up adopted our Droop and he started taking levels in Paladin. He fell fighting valiantly against Old Gnawbone T__T

Indeed they are.
My Ghired deck isn't quite as dense on legends (though I have tinkered with raising the numbers of them). But the ones it does have LOVE that enchantment (Ghired, Dragonhawk, Gnawbone, Aurelia, Calamity, Ghalta and Mavren, Kutzil, God-Eternal Oketra, and Delina Wild Mage).

It's baffling to me because I was a D&D/forgotten realms fan first but those cards seem to be acceptable and not "immersion breaking"? Tiamat and Old Gnawbone shouldn't be here either if we're complaining about characters from outside of Magic lore and yet.....

This plus old gnawbone or ancient copper dragon and you print money. I made a quick tiamat deck yesterday on arena and you search for miirym and 4 other busted ass dragons, or play miirym first and search for 10. With the right draw I had a turn 3 tiamat consistently.
