It's wild that I can't even stream music over GoogleFi a 2G.
Whatever. I'm not paying them 10 bucks per gig to get back to 5G speeds before the 15th.
Also, switching from Spotify to qobuz which has a simply awful name but same catalog, better sound, better family plans, and they don't fund drones.

hey any other google fi users get completely fucking bricked when not on wifi? since yesterday there's been an outage. you might get an error message saying your sim card needs to be replaced but it's a network issue. Here's a quick, temp fix that's worked for me

I tried mint, but I travel a lot and they did not have coverage everywhere.
Very happy with googlefi. Probably would have been happy w Mint if no travel.
Btw, Verizon custy for 23 years. Told them I was leaving to make a better political choice w my $.

I really like our GoogleFi phones and service. You don't even need a new phone or SIM card when you travel to most countries.

GoogleFi just works in Europe without having to pay more. I landed in Paris and a couple minutes later I was using wireless like normal.

third for GoogleFi. I work from home so I'm home on my wifi 99% of the time. Haven't had any problems - THAT SAID I live in a city. My sister said she ran into a lot of coverage issues in rural northern Minnesota. YMMV.

GoogleFi here too. WFH & rarely out, always on WiFi. My usual bill for 2 lines w/ new phones bundled in is around $70/mo. It'll drop lower once they're paid off. Highest I've ever had was $100 and that was with several days of being out using lots of data. Still $50 less than my old monthly VZW bill
