If you are referring to GLD in EYFS the word reading EGL is simply ability to recall some GPCs & decode first sets of words - which whilst important, is not ‘reading’. There is an inbalance of SSP in the curriculum that exacerbates gaps for most disadvantaged - that are still prevalent

this is good at a high level, very similar to Gatenby and Anderson’s evolutionary ecology of tumors, would be stronger, tho, with opinions or refs on *how* to quantify GPCs and phenotypic state space volume

Not exactly the same thing but it reminds me of a particular genre of nasa engineering ghost stories
![A more recent example of this problem came closer to causing a disaster. At 12:12 GMT 13 May 2008, a space shuttle was loading its hypergolic fuel for mission STS-124 when a 3-1 disagreement occurred among its GPCs (GPC 4 disagreed with the other GPCs). Three seconds later, the split became 2-1-1 (GPC 2 now disagreed with GPC 4 and the other two GPCs). This required that the launch countdown be stopped. During the subsequent troubleshooting, the remaining two GPCs disagreed (1-1-1-1 split). See the reports given in [2] and [3]. This was a complete system disagreement. However, none of the GPCs were faulty. The fault was in the FA 2 MDM. This fault was a crack in a diode. The photomicrographs in figure 2 show two views of this diode, rotated 90 degrees. The dark wavy line pointed to by the red arrows is the crack. The current flow through diode is normally left to right through the material shown in these pictures. This means that the crack was perpendicular to the normal current flow and completely through the current path. As a crack opened up, it changed the diode into another type of component ... a capacitor. At a very high level, I think the best advice for parents is practise as much as possible with the GPCs which the children have learned at school so they really know them (you can now use AI to generate extra practice passages) and develop vocab as much as possible.

Asking civil servants to reapply for access to GPCs risks/guarantees wasting time on a bureaucratic process for very little saving. Which is close to an open admission of not understanding what government time is worth.

…quantity of practice. In phonics, critical to practise recall of GPCs but also blending, maths needs time and dedication to mastering addition bonds and concepts/facts like near doubles, bridging 10 and so there is variety in how this looks (visuals etc). Reckon starters in phonics and maths… 2/n

증기기관차의 열효율은 구 일본국철이 언급하기로는 6% 정도로, 디젤기관차 20%, 전기기관차 26%에 비하면 정말 터무니없이 낮은 편이죠. 요즘은 전력소자기술 발전 덕에 더 많이 끌어올려지긴 할겁니다마는.

These GPCs mostly lived in the outer subventricular zone, a layer of the cortex that is greatly expanded in primates. These cells may thus play an evolutionary role in the dramatic white matter expansion characteristic of human brains. 13/
