NVIDIA has sold about $535bn of gpus and associated gear (mostly GPUs) in the data center segment since the beginning of fy2023 (February 2022). If Microsoft only has 2gw or so, I think it’s unlikely anyone else is even close. Where are the GPUs?

Cash For Clankers will be the government program set up for buying distressed GPUs
Cash For Clunkers programs are crazy efficient - but they can't even touch Cash For Air Clunkers, which would let you decommission and repurpose the underlying infrastructure itself. General aviation airports are all over the place, they're very large, and they're often on urban land.
My deeper obsession here is that the avgas transition deadline is an unrecognized opportunity to buy out small planes (since they require expensive retrofits to burn unleaded) and close small airports - it's a major climate+urban land use opportunity within a major air pollution win!
