Last time I parked there, it had a standard pay-w/-plastic system, though it was malfunctioning. The RW thinks we're some kind of lawless commies. A bunch of grayhairs so honest we're standing around for 10 minutes trying to figure out how to pay rather than essentially jumping the turnstile.

This isn’t a dig at any one demographic. This isn’t representative of Portland, OR. This is just an observation from an Alaska Native who happens to be in Portland, OR.
Hopefully, all the whitehairs and grayhairs will be able to get the younger people engaged.

Maine has the oldest population in the country and old people turn out, so I'm not sure her strategy is wrong. But the three biggest Platner boosters I know are pushing 70 at least, so Mills doesn't have a lock on the grayhairs
