And what would the #GrayMouser be without #Fafhrd? Now I dream of being able to play #RealmsOfAncardia in an interesting way without ever having to leave a city :-)

Not the cutest book shop, depending on library, but check out your local library’s used book store. I got lucky and found, I think, all of the Fritz Lehber’s Faherd and Graymouser books. At least the books by him and not a ghost righter.

Agreed

I think the fantasy #ThievesGuild mostly traces to:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ill_Met...

""Ill Met in #Lankhmar" is a sword and sorcery novella by American writer #FritzLeiber, recounting the meeting and teaming-up of his adventurous duo, #Fafhrd and the #GrayMouser."

And related stories.

I really like the flexible talent category system in #RealmsOfAncardia... if you e.g. want to build a character like the #GrayMouser it's pretty simple to define your own setup. Here we have a master rogue who is an adept fighter and a novice mage... fits the role model :-)

I love Fritz’s short fiction. Haven’t read his novels except two Fafhrd and the Graymouser books. I’m excited to read these.
