We're going for "Grimhope". The world is lost, the enemies won long ago, but there IS hope for the future if you're willing to fight for it. We want a good balance between truly horrible and monstrous bosses ala Dark Souls, and weird scrungly muppet-esque little guys ala The Labyrinth.

I'm especially fond of "You can only keep moving / become more of what you are" because that particular strain of grimhope has been something I've grappled with in my own work over the last six months to a year, too.

Ender Lilies is DROP DEAD GORGEOUS, and I love the mechanics that come with making a team of Spirits! The game is very tragic once you start exploring and finding lore bits. But I love Grimhope and persisting in despite of harrowing circumstances. Also, would smooch the Knight btw.

I feel slightly negative to any of the popular word combos - hopepunk, romantsy, grimhope, grimpunk, romancepunk, fuckpunk, etc. Not enough on the dislike scale to write a 1000 reddit post about it. Just a slight "whatever" reaction.
