After Paladin and Shaman, it’s time for Druid… and 1 of my favorite archetypes is making a comeback: BEAST DRUID!
Plenty of Beasts to work with, including Primordial Bear, Foraging Slyvern, and Curious Grimlynx just to name a few!

Midnight's Grimlynx mounts are already the most wanted in the expansion… but most players won't know how to get all of them.

New Haranir Grimlynx mount looks amazing, I really like this white striped beast
BUT why Blizz chose it as racial mount if it does not match the color of the racial armor set at all?
There is another Grimlynx mount recolor ingame (right one) but it's not available

Mount #1197 - the Dusk Grimlynx! This is the one from the latest story beat. I have my opinions about it all, but I think others here on Bsky are putting it into words better than I could. I'll just say... I like this mount about as much as I like this new narrative. @worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com

Mount #1196 - the Rootstalker Grimlynx! I don't know what else to say that I haven't said already-- these cats are not my favorite. The bright green on this one is nice, at least, but nowhere near a fave. Another one banished to the stables with its fellow grimlynxes. @worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com

Mounts #1182 & #1183 - the Fierce Grimlynx & Cerulean Sporeglider! Finally went back to grab the Harandar rep mounts I passed on to save marl. Again, the Grimlynx is a rather boring mount IMO, but the Sporeglider is one of the coolest they've added in a long time! @worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com

Mount #1140 - the Ivory Grimlynx! Awarded upon unlocking the Haranir, this is the allied racial mount. I'm rather underwhelmed by it. It has a lot of detail, but it's another cat. Of all the beasts in Harandar? They're not beating the reskinned Night Elf allegations @worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com

Hi'reek was original one of the razorquill bats. Halazzi was once a grimlynx. Maybe the Bear Brothers were originally Quill-bears??
- The fact that Haranir and their wild shapes have quills suggest that proto-Azeroth was a very thorny place, despite only few animals having them in the modern era.

- Haranir do not eat much meat; almost every animal in Harandar is a florafauna except for grimlynx and a few endangered creatures that they take as animal forms. Besides that, there are also insects. This means they pretty much just eat plants (and plant animals) and insects.

We can see one of these "grimlynx" in the deep dive, sitting next to some Haranir at one point. Definitely a regular animal, especially since the druid form is WAY different. It's safe to say that, at least right now, it's likely a normal whiptail. Could change, of course.
