'Porpoising' is a high-frequency bouncing motion seen on cars at high speed. It's caused by the ground effect aerodynamics stalling and re-attaching rapidly as the car's floor gets too close to the track surface.

Here we have a 1976 McDonnell Douglas "hybrid seaplane concept", a wing-in-groundeffect (WIG) vehicle that looks pretty similar to the Soviet Projekt 903 Lun-class Ekranoplan.

Also axiomatic: all particles sized < 5000 nanometres float; due to barrier layer of air causing groundeffect preventing normal surface gravitational deposition.

Virus sized 35nm-480nm, so why there was ever a debate as to whether it was airborne or not a mystery.

Should have asked the chip biz.

There's a mod for the Online rev. to restore the Opels and make the online progress cars buyable

The Groundeffect A.K.I.O. from the Holiday Drive demo and other cut cars are here too.

Most interestingly this would've been the first game with a licensed Veyron, five years before ProStreet's DLC!
