That feeling when you fall down the rabbithole of trying to figure out which guru or gurus a university classmate's mom (a widely known yoga and movement teacher) followed and what traditions they're part of, instead of getting ready for bed.

Siddha Yoga here is very small. Only a few show up for the Wednesday satsangs and Sunday Guru Gita chant. The limited participation frustrated me. I think the concern for working days and hours limited it. I don't know. I don't know.

Not saying anything pro or con about gurumayi, but if she wants people to be there and wants to teach them then it doesn’t feel appropriative to me at least in the spiritual sense. A lot of what you’re describing sounds to me like in group/out group culture that is common in spiritual groups.

Is it just a song to you? The Chambers Brothers? In the Bhagavad Gita, Krishna calls the Self time.

Baba when he was alive spoke of finding fault, the problem with that. Finding fault with the Self. But fault finding can be a trait in people. We can't help but find ways in which we disagree, but we need not obsess about them.

I actually did this at like 11 or 12 and did not connect with the name she gave me, it didn’t stick, hahaha
