I am forever jealous of Gwinnett

Gwinnett County has taken mail ballots this way since 2022. Republicans couldn't point to one thing that went wrong in all that time. Judge Warren Davis put that in writing.

Gwinnett County's early voting was also relatively low in 2024 compared with other counties. Something to watch in the coming weeks.

WIN: A state appeals court allowed Gwinnett County's pro-voting policy that allows voters to hand-deliver mail-in ballots at early voting sites without drop boxes to stand before the midterms.

The ruling comes as a blow to a broader GOP effort to restrict voting in the swing state.

One other fun comparison is Cobb vs Gwinnett. Cobb, you'll see, has been shifting steadily left compared to the state over the last few cycles while Gwinnett is mostly holding steady and just riding the statewide wave.

Gwinnett county is home to many immigrants and other newcomers, and how it votes could be decisive for Congress
This Georgia county is one of the US’s most diverse – and that could flip multiple elections

MAIL VOTING ATTACKS: The RNC has attempted to restrict mail voting in the state by:

📬 Challenging a policy expanding voters’ ability to drop off absentee ballots in Gwinnett County.

📬 Successfully pressuring Fulton and Cobb counties to scrap similar absentee ballot policies.

Georgia Tech
Georgia State
Gas South out in Gwinnett

It’s strange Gwinnett would be trailing. Feels like those left-zooming suburbs are usually hotbeds of motivated voters.
October 14, 2026 at 11:50 PM
You and I both know both of us are from Metro Atlanta you Gwinnett-ass

The Republican National Committee spent almost four months in court to stop Gwinnett County voters from handing a finished mail ballot to a sworn election worker. They couldn't show the judge one bad ballot. Then came their filing. www.dworkinsubstack.com/p/ossoff-put...

Ugh. What a waste. Georgia Tech? Gas South Gwinnett?
October 12, 2026 at 12:23 AM
it’s not just yours. seems to be a publix wide issue bc this is, uh, not a normal arrangement for gwinnett county
October 10, 2026 at 2:43 PM
Moral of the story, if you have any friends in Augusta, Athens, Gwinnett, Macon, or Savannah, be sure to check in with them & ensure they have a plan to vote.

(Side note, specifically Augusta, Athens, and Savannah almost ways trail. That isn't unusual)

Just northeast of #Atlanta, #Gwinnett stands out from other #Georgia counties with greater population, #diversity, and a stronger economy. The county went for Harris in 2024.
