I have added some prints to my ko-fi page. It took a long time but I've found a good UK based print service to supply UK/Europe folks with bird portraits. Hahnemüle eco paper, 10+ colour giclee prints, if it wasn't my own artwork I'd say they look pretty good!

Salted paper

First step in making salt prints is to coat the paper with salt using a 2% solution of sodium chloride, or table salt. Once these are dry, I’ll coat them with silver nitrate, then start the process of calibrating QuadToneRip for my UV lights for prints.

PSA: Don't go for smooth paper (e.g. bristol, or this Hahnemüle Nostalgie 190gsm sketchbook) if you use copics. Nothing blends. Unless I saturate the paper with ink it looks like I'm crosshatching. 😐 #traditionalart #artistproblems
