These same people complained about Borderlands 3 showing Hammerlock as explicitly gay, as if Borderlands 2 *from 2012* didn't have a quest in the base game where he mentioned an ex boyfriend and then had two whole DLCs dedicated to Hammerlock going on wacky adventures.
