NFS is pretty DIY but with good security features [so not quite as hands off as an unmanaged VPS.] and it should be just fine for my static websites!!

i haven't tried hawkhost yet since i'm happy with NSFN for my "Handcoded/No Advanced Shop Management" needs [and i and i pay a non-binding $3 bucks a month with them], but hawkhost is the least expensive and best fully featured host that allows nsfw that i've seen!

My websites and landing pages are down. It turns out that it was my webhost (Hawkhost), which I have had for YEARS is the culprit behind it. Although, to be fair, it was on me for not checking if my backups were good.

i think i can start off with a generic checklist for what you need before you even start programming [ex.: choose your best 9 or 12 artworks/comics/stories, make thumbnails, understand a good File Structure for a website, signing up for n/eocities, NFShost, or hawkhost]
