why is it even called good friday in america?
here it's named karfreitag and kar is from an old highgerman word for sorrow... and it's a day where dancing and loud music, fun in general if you ask me, is not allowed. (i'm not religious, it's just a national holiday) so i never understood why good..

Four. #HighGerman (standard german), #LowGerman aka #Plattdütsch (derived from #OldSaxon), #Danish and #English (so lala). Because of danish I also read #norwegian and #swedish fluently, but understand the spoken languages only partly.
