Lithuanian highschools stopped teaching Russian as a second language this year, and replaced it with Spanish. I am honestly surprised they didn't do that already in the 2000ds.

My highschools mascot was a Confederate general. We were the "rebels" and students would fly Confederate flags at football games. The school was directly next to a cotton field off of plantation road(deadass street name)

it's not often that entire highschools durably learn a lesson about physics, and underestimating opponents, and if we're lucky, about the concept of fighting words, all in one day. pedagogical excellence
