why is hipblaslt 10GiB in size??

i am calling for a complete halt on the existence of hipblaslt

there is no scrutable reason to fill the build dir with over 150G of assembly files

by tomorrow evening the entire eastern seaboard will have been overtaken with opcodes

I would recommend not building the hipblaslt package from source if you can avoid it, my 24 thread 5900x was pegged at 100% for like 6 hours because i ran what i thought would be a routine flake update & even with niceness adjustments it's rendered the OS unusable while it builds assembly kernels

Welp so much for 1.9 tops being the ceiling, already smashed through that. Getting wins with Direct HIP, hipBLASLt, rocWMMA, and CK in different regions. The decomposition is good, and continues

Managed to get all the deps pytorch needs built with MI100 support, including the patches necessary for it to use hipblaslt.

Wow! AMD's new GEMM kernel in hipBLASLt runs on-premises and produces a configuration profile biased toward the best-performing kernels for a given problem shape. Where have I seen that before... oh yeah, I did that 2 months ago.
