A weird sickness has dragged all to the tomb. The small creatures running through the cemetery are the evidence of the tragedy.

Drawlloween Day 16 - HistHORRORical "A cephalophore is a saint who is generally depicted carrying their severed head. In Christian art, this was usually meant to signify that the subject had been martyred by beheading."

Mabs Drawlloween Club Day 16: Histhorrorical

A local ghost story for you today, since the early 1900s, on the B3212 running through Dartmoor there have been reports of a pair of disembodied hands appearing and forcing vehicles off the road. They are quite aptly named 'The Hairy Hands of Dartmoor'.

#mdwc26d15 #mdwc26d16 #tinyterror #histhorrorical I feel like I have reached the doldrums, because I don't like anything I draw and I can't think about how to make things look cool. Read the alt for explanation.
For "tiny terror" the only thing I could think of was "Little Billy" Rhodes, the villain from the 1938 all midget western The Terror of Tiny Town. It's worth watching once, even if it's just for the wtf factor. For "hist-horror-ical" I was well and truly stumped. I was thinking about maybe doing some crossover between Marie Antoinette and the girl with the green ribbon and I started sketching and hated it. I'm giving up for today, tomorrow is another day.

"Wild Bill Hitchcock says DRAW!"
a motivational poster I needed to get going today. Sir Alfred Hitchcock merged with wild Bill Hickok to trigger something horrible today (hopefully in an entertaining way)

#AlfredHitchcock #WildBillHickok #Motivational
A motivational poster inspired by old western-style Wanted posters. It reads "Wild Bill Hitchcock says DRAW!" It features film director Alfred Hitchcock's head dressed-up like Wild Bill Hickok with a wide brimmed hat and long wild moustache.

Day 12
HistHORRORical

#ATC #ArtSky #KleineKunstklasse #inktober #drawtober
A small watercolor painting in the size of a trading card. In this drawing, Countess Elizabeth Báthory is portrayed from the waist up with large, stylized brown eyes. While she wears her signature red dress in the style of classic historical portraits, the scene is punctuated by blood splatters on both the figure and the background.
