So instead of an endurance of 3 (1 hit per full 3 damage) and 3 hitpoints, you have 9 hitpoints.
Hitting for 3+6+1 (10 damage) does 3 hitpoints of damage- killing an average person.
However, if an average person has 9HP- then... same.
