Again, I am not saying that making Kaiserreich or TNO is inherently suspect - as I note, they are if anything more skeptical about the Nazis than HoI4 is - but I do think you are kidding yourself if you are pretending that their popularity is *entirely* unconnected to their appeal to neo-Nazis.

Of course if the common perception was wrong, if the HoI4 community didn't have a persistent Nazi problem, the way to discover that would be for PDX to commission some polling work using their access to the player-base.
Love the guys at PDX, somehow I do not expect that is going to happen.

But also you can see where community response has caused radical changes of course, which has definitely happened with HoI4. It makes sense to sink your dev effort into what your players use, soooo giant focus tree for Germany!
