The name 'Holons' is new to me but this is a very clear overview of where our energy system has been and where it is going. Will we get there chaotically and eventually or can we make it happen faster and cheaper?
Love the idea of holons. This is a much more compelling and workable vision of local energy networks than the GLA’s ongoing fixation with heat networks. Distributing electrons locally is much easier than moving heat locally and solves many more problems.

If I had to pick a favourite, I think it would be Cammie’s ^^ Just a lot of fun shapes

Indeed! When we "forget ourselves" in service of the community, there is so much liberation and a deeper connection. That's where we get the sense of belonging we're so starved for.
Then, the sum (C-ommunity) has more value than just the adding of its parts (individuals). #holons #spiraldynamics

Community is a living breathing thing that we put pieces of ourselves into, we contribute to Community. While we are individuals within a community the hope for any of us is that we come together in Community (big C) as individuals so that we are no longer JUST individuals.
