I've begun volunteering for a national French charity called Resto du Coeur - www.restosducoeur.org - which operates a market-style food bank in my Nice neighborhood. It's very similar to the work I did for Hopelink back home. I'm loving it. Meeting lots of locals as volunteers and staff.

The lack of real-time data for DART buses operated by Hopelink for King County Metro is that some of our most underserved areas with infrequent transit service can’t know if their bus is coming or not ever. I didn’t realize how awful this was till I had to rely on the 631 in Burien to get around.

I'm very overdue to see my dentist in the U District. I'm in the south end. My caregiver doesn't drive clients, & Hopelink cabs only do Medicaid appointments. Plans fell through, need to make a new appointment.
