Another strong night of writing. New #screenplay currently sits at 25 pages. My weary & troubled traveller is checked into the hotel, and struggling to get to sleep. It’s definitely going to be a long night for him.

I never made the first cut for the horror screenwriting competition, but that’s okay. Still figuring things out. This would make a hell of a good movie if there are any directors interested in reading it. #horrorscreenplay #indiehorror #horrorscript #blumhouse
Adding screenwriter to my resume tonight. It feels damn good. Even if this doesn’t pan out, I’ve learned a lot about adapting one of my books, extracting the essence of the story, trimming unnecessary scenes (or merging them), and being proud of what I’ve accomplished. #searchfornewblood

This #horrorscreenplay needs one final pass through--to add a prop that will play an important role in the finale and reinforce its presence throughout--and then it can go off to my director/producer for review!
Here's hoping he doesn't have to reel me in too much 🤞
