I will still draw the line at flowers that are unmistakably cat faces, and hostas that come in electric rainbow hues. :D It's the ideal business model -- by the time the seeds are grown and the buyer is disappointed, it's years later ...

Nåt jag är tacksam för att det är sant är det där med att åren går fortare ju äldre man blir. Som tidigt i höstas var jag lite ur fas. Jag hade en tråkig inflammation och blev sen förkyld. Så jag tappade lite taget om dagarna. Lät dem gå. Och vips hade hela september passerat.

I know there were Bluebirds nesting this past summer. Guessing the little nest was maybe RTHU’s??? We have window boxes and hostas out front that they loved so guessing they wanted the convenience of a mini-mart right outside their front door 😂🥰

One swung his head around at me from the back side of a tree. The other ran out of some hostas and nearly across my foot. They're casing me!

Some plants are more attractive to snakes than others, so you can plan accordingly. Hostas and junipers provide shade and cover for snakes to hide in.

Guys I put another 50? 60? Daffodils in the ground today & dug up another hosta that ate Cleveland (sorry, Cleveland) & divided it into ~20 smaller hostas that ate, say, a Cleveland suburb, and mulched.
OH, the mulching I did.
After doing both elder care and elder cat care.
And writing 6 pages.

Spent the early evening outside with the cats in costume, greeting trick-or-treaters. They were a hit.
One kid who met them on the Standish Ericsson cat parade last month was excited to pet them again.

I used to ❤️ that time period after I came home from a garden show with a bulb or tiny start and could search and dream about my future grown-up plant babies. Hostas are afflicted with the AI disease the worst.
