I’m writing a monster romance novella for @monstermanorbooks.bsky.social’s #hotwetqueersummerjam!🥹

At 20K words written, I’m almost ready for alpha/beta readers. 🥹

Title is still TBD, but i’m so excited for folks to experience it! 🥹
I’m participating in the hot wet queer summer jam Snippet of story with a makeout session. Text reads, “By the gods, I was coming undone. Careless’ grip on my face tightened, and I shuddered. Something ravenous came over me as I reciprocated her movements. I pushed my much bigger lips into hers and nearly came against my slit when her small, wet tongue lapped at my flesh. I welcomed her advances and moaned when my thick forked tongue touched hers. I was dying. I was dead. Surely kissing was included in the afterlife that the elders spoke of so reverently. I leaned over Careless, pressing my body into hers, my bulging slit rubbing against some solid part of her. Mouths open and tongues twisting together, the flurry of sensations had my cock leaking persistently behind my scales, begging to be released.” Moodboard photos of kissing, sensual dancing, snake scales, and key details of the story. The story features African folklore, a relationship between a cisgender woman and a nonbinary monster, and lots of smut. Story summary reads, “Careless is a Seventh Daughter: a woman sought after for the powerful magic she accesses on her 30th born day. As she quietly rebels against the convent she’s trapped in–overrun with puritanical rules and rituals to prepare the Daughters for forced marriages–she captures the attention of a dangerous suitor. After a ceremony gone wrong, Careless flees the convent and finds solace in an idyllic lagoon and its mysterious resident: a water spirit named Maji. The two dive deep, exploring passion and trauma, but one misstep throws Careless right into the maw of a ravenous monster. To find freedom, she must make a choice: her own death or that of the one she loves?”
