We have another govt attack on Te Tiriti. NACT do not like health regulators having competencies that are Te Tiriti -based. Bill to revise the HPCA will give Minister power to direct regulators - Cabinet paper specifically mentions guidelines for practice.

I fucking bailed on HPCA years ago.
It's strange. So many increasingly rw assholes, but also lifelong friends. I'm glad I left when I did, and glad I stayed as long as I did.
Every time I've encountered a bad argument by some dipshit, I remember the quality brawls I had on HPCA.

submitted two papers to HPCA 2025..!!! one paper was worked on for 13 months, was submitted+rejected from MICRO in april and now resubmitted. the other was worked on for a year and i joined the last few weeks to help with a bunch of experiments. i hope both get accepted!!!

HPCA and SDN made me far better at arguing simply because I was forced to identity what a person was saying and responding to that rather then getting angry.
"Okay sure but that's not what you said earlier" or "okay but that doesn't follow" are all skills I picked up in those crucibles.
