My favorite thing about insurance is 120-day wait period for a patient to switch meds. Oh Novolog isn’t work well? Have you considered humalog?

I just called them and my doctor needs to send them documentation that Novolog is the insulin that works for me, as opposed to Humalog. Jesus fucking Christ on a pogostick. I hate this system.

When it happens, you are going to see a LOT of dead people that can no longer afford zepbound or humalog or pumps or CGMs.

My PBM processed this year’s insulin Prior Authorization without my involvement!!!!! Just got a letter that says I’m approved for Humalog for another year!!!

almost 50 days into the new year, and my new Insurance is yet to approve any kind of Insulin prescription for me (the type 1 diabetic)
Went thru 8 phone transfers to figure out why this was denied (gotta prove u cant use Humalog if you want Novolog)
now my Prior Auth for Humalog is stuck too 😂😂😂😂😂
