Hyperboles are the biggest threat to human existence

Taffeta phrases, silken terms precise,
Three-pil’d hyperboles, spruce affection,
Figures pedantical—these summer flies
Have blown me full of maggot ostentation.

Trump only says provably false narratives or laughable hyperboles. Yet some people hear useful information.
Along with our political divide, we do have an intellectual divide. I don't discuss it, as the Left is considered condescending.
(For any MAGA reading this, that means we talk down to people.)

It’s important to stick to the facts of climate change. The truth is bad enough. Wild hyperboles and lies only undermine real efforts to stop climate change.

Biden's 🇦🇫 withdrawal was covered endlessly as a world-historical failure & leaving "🇪🇺 exposed" & "walking 🇺🇸 away from the world stage" & other hyperboles like 👆. Trump does things orders of magnitude more incompetent, illegal, & isolationist in 🇻🇪, 🇨🇦, 🇬🇱/🇩🇰, 🇮🇷, etc., & the tone is simply not the same 🤷‍♂️

the problem with wanting to look up Modern Game Negatives is that most people these days deal in extremes so trying to find good critique takes like several hours and whittling down of hyperboles instead of just. a few minutes.

Honestly, if you don't follow Hasan exclusively through a bunch of clip focusing on hyperboles, he is a very reasonable dude.

All Scripture is not to be taken literally. Some verses are metaphorical. There is figurative language like similes, personification, hyperboles, allegory, allusions, etc. Pastors are not to handle snakes.

An underrated healthy internet habit to learn is being careful about overspeaking in hyperboles.

Yeah it's fine enough to call someone you like an "icon" or "legend" but a lot of people nowadays are way too comfy casually threatening violence because it's a meme-ish way to criticize someone.
