Just to be clear, not knocking BMZ2. I actually played the BMZ series and loved them, I just wish DLC for a whole other game wasn't the context needed to understand finer points of iX2—whose DLC adds up to the base game's price—worst part is, there's STILL plot holes after BMZ2's Copen DLC, lmao

Oh yeah, Dual Collection is non-negotiable now, it makes iX2 way more bearable even though I have a sort of stockholm syndrome attachment to it because there's a fair bit I like—music, designs, etc.—but the gameplay...Yeah, it's certainly a video game ever.

Seems most of iX2 is being swept under the rug and I'm glad since the "plot" was a mess and BMZ2 being required context was weird. I do value iX2 for opening the doors to this concept with The Creator and MOTHER though, since our iX encountering others and still coming out on top is metal as hell.
