I’ve been chasing the Ghosts of Cassiopeia (IC59 and IC63) for three years now.
They’re a particularly difficult subject because of the faint background nebulosity, blurred by the intense glare of 𝛄 Cassiopeiae, the star from the homonymous constellation lighting up both nebulae.

I added 100 subframes to the 80 from the September session 🔭. Much more details in the nebula. Total of 180x180sec, about 9 hours on this target. I may modify the colour rendering a little. (Navi really annoyed me with this processing...)

Compliqué, je suis parvenu a réduire le halo donut autout du halo principal qui lui, est inhérant au L-Ultimate.
Cette image mérite un peu plus de temps d'expo... ce Fantôme est une très belle cible. 🔭
