I have a EcoWorthy 8Ah for the FT891 (runs 100W no worries).

I adapted one of my own designs! I made a phantom powered one for the IC705, but the KX radios supply 3.3V out which is perfect!

I spontaneously tested SDR Control with the IC-705. I think it's very good. FT8 works well. I'll be testing CW.

In the shack, trying openhamclock.com Pretty neat it runs in a browser environment. L to R ic705/DX Patrol Groundstation2 for QO100 with SDRplay behind, ic7610 for HF, IC9700 for VHF/UHF, ic7300 used for 4m and portable, FTM400 for C4FM via an Openspot, seperate laptops all running Win4Icom, Log4OM2

One big downside of having my QO-100 dish tripod mounted is that the blooming wind blows it out of alignment. It's all fixed now, courtesy of the Bluetooth on my ic705... I can take the Sony speaker outside so I can monitor for the strongest signal from the satellite 🛰
