🗡️ CUT DOWN THE ALTAR! 🩸

N’ami at a younger age being guided by the shadow of her father’s voidsent, Auberon. Auberon uses her often as a puppet to carry out her father’s mission. One she did consent nor has the need to fulfill. Unfortunately, this is out of N’ami’s control. Until now…

🩸Don’t You Look Good in Red 💔

N’ami completely covered in blood; an aftermath image of the life she’s tired of. She’s saddened covering herself and gazing weakly at the viewer. You can tell she’s hurt, tired and wanting to be done with this particular lifestyle. She’ll get a break soon. 💔 ALL CHARACTERS PORTRAYED ARE CONSENTING! ‼️

Young N’ami (4) dancing with jubilee for her parents N’oemi & N’aaja. Though the picture appears to be one of a ‘happy family’ this is simply a vision N’ami’s had in distant dreams. This has never actually happened for her, but she always dreamt someday it would. Here’s a prelude to N’ami’s inner thoughts, her journey and how she’s become the N’ami we know today.

Aesthetic (Southern Gothic) N’ami standing and facing Dominique, a long time friend and colleague. They are both looking towards the viewer with an interested gaze. The setting is a swampy area reminiscent of the Bayou within Louisiana. The umbrella specifically is a call out to a dance/tradition called the second line. As a New Orleans native, this particular pose had some home and heart within it. Big big fan of swamp areas and the southern gothic charm that is New Orleans as a whole ✨⚜️✨🖤

Are You Proud of Me Yet? 🗡️💔

#HidakaLore | #IfNotByFate
Have I Not Done Enough? “I have bled. I have lost every sense of self. For your purpose, father. Have I not done enough? Have I made you proud yet? Have I walked the path you so carefully wrote for me? Is it finally done? Can I finally lay you to rest? Can you let me go? I am begging, with all of me, to please let me go.” CW: Self Harm | Attempted Suicide N’ami rests in her meditative position, asking to be let go from her father’s grasp. Her father stands in a faded portrait of himself, as a voidsent looms just beside him. This voidsent is known as his shadow. This shadow has protected N’ami since his death; so much to the point he’s stopped her from taking her own life. The very mountaintop she is sat upon, is the same mountaintop she attempted to take her life. She has found herself here yet again, not in desperation, but in a graceful plea to let her father’s hold release her. Around her are gentle black wisps of smoke. These usually manifest when she’s asking for her father’s presence in kind. Here, she is begging, desperately, to finally walk her own path. Yet he refuses to let her go. Has she done enough?

A Lovely Tuesday @ Hidaka Dojo 🗡️🥀

A Pained Admission 💔

LORE in ALT TEXT ‼️

N’ami often has a moment to answer questions from students! Today, they decided to ask a question she has been trying to avoid for the longest time. Better late than never, I suppose. [A moment of reprieve for the students of Hidaka Dojo is often met with questions for the Grandmaster.] Master Hidaka, what was your first kill like? Were you scared? "Heh, scared shitless actually. I remember the look in his eyes, trembling like a wretch. A mess he was. I, however, was overtaken by his shadow. He squirmed under my blade, he begged for mercy and I kept driving it through his chest, deeper and deeper. His crimson dressed my skin. It looked… breathtaking. Finally, he met my hilt and I hissed at his misery. He told me, "I love you…" I told him.. "Too late…" Was this- was this a lover of yours? "God no, a lover would never be met a blade like mine…" Then who was it? "His name was N'oemi. N'oemi Hidaka.” N’ami standing above the unlucky bearer of her blade. The pain is withstanding as she stands with fire covering the town behind her. She did what had to be done…

With age, comes the horrid reality that you aren’t as strong as you once were. But you are wiser. 💔

N’ami is speaking with her since grandmaster in command, Kaze. Afraid to leave and retire. “Kaze… What if I’m not ready?” “…Hmm? For what?” She lays it out more bare for him to understand. She isn’t ready to let go of what she’s built. It’s been her whole life and nothing else. “To leave it all behind… I-I built this place… I don’t think I’m ready to leave…” “N’ami…” She begins to justify her staying in her current role. Being a samurai despite her own health and needs. Kaze looks at her with a confident smile. “There’s still so much to be done, so many people to save… I’m not-“ “N’ami…” he reassures… N’ami begins to realize that she has a hard time letting go, which brings her to tears… she’s not ready. But her heart is begging her to let go, for her own health. Kaze continues to reassure her. -sniffle- “You’ve done well to lift up the next generation. Let us handle the rest, while you deserve the rest of your life…”
