Whenever I watch In the Night Garden with my 2 y.o. grandson when I am putting him to bed, Derek Jacobi talking pleasant nonsense sends me into a calm and blissful sleep.
G.s is wide awake and excited at the end, though, and runs round and round the room shouting, "Igglepiggle! Igglepiggle!"

I swore my kids would have no screens. That lasted maybe a year. The stuff is all terrible but it shuts them up. In The Night Garden is great though. I could listen to Derek Jacobi talking pleasant nonsense for hours. Best bit of the day. God I need to go back to work.
