Trans bathroom laws are about body policing, not women's safety. You can't enforce the rule without examining women's genitals. In practice, the rule targets women (cis or trans) who don't look "feminine" enough. This does not make women safe.

So. About ten years ago, when I was part of the Bath Gender Equality Network, I procured a number of these badges, which I have now found again. As I am leaving the country, I will send one to anyone who wants one for £1 to cover postage. But shout quickly, obviously.

Took an online class tonight on making fibulae. Different than the one I took several years ago, covered some different forms. Really good! I made a pin to go on my battle jacket- maybe some Rome-obsessed cop will see it and hesitate, allowing me to skedaddle. 🤣
