We need to view transmisogyny less about who is targeted and more about what stereotypes and tropes are being used. Just as a white person using an anti-Black slur to attack another white person is still anti-Black racism, using transmisogyny to attack cis women (or trans men) is still transmisogyny
i think maybe it comes down to not *who* things are being directed at but what stereotypes and tropes are being referenced. if someone is using transmisogynistic tropes to attack a cis man - that's still transmisogyny.

I feel like I have brew of intellectual arrogance, low work ethic, edginess, oversensitivity, entitlement, and self-loathing in a way that's frankly kind of toxic. Throw in the occasional vile intrusive thought and the internalized transmisogyny and geeze, I dunno.

Might delete but there are two broad flavors of transmisogyny.
One is "male-atypical" transmisogyny, based on how much you differ from male gender norms.
The other is "mixed-typicality" transmisogyny, based on differing from male gender norms in some ways and female gender norms in others.
